Evan and I signed at the Dark Horse Booth and pushed our newest collaboration, Beasts of Burden, featuring those dogs that fight the supernatural that we've all come to love. If you're not familiar with their first four adventures you can find them in the anthology series from Dark Horse called "The Dark Horse Book of..." Hauntings, Witches, The Dead and Monsters. I'm sure you can find them here on the internet or go to your local comic book shop or bookstore and get yourself some copies.
The Beasts of Burden Hill are at it again, barking at cars, chasing their tales and investigating strange supernatural occurrences. Here's a couple of pages so you can see what things look like...

We've got four issues of BEASTS OF BURDEN coming out, all painted by me, written by Evan and lettered by Jason Arthur. Look for it late summer, so I am told....

So cuuuuute! I have to go through my con photos still, I know I got tons of them reading so some must have come out. I'll send you what I find!
I love those branchy panel gutters!
I've got a niece who loves the new Scholastic editions of "Bone" and did the same thing over Christmas. When she got her next two installment fix from Unca Jim she plopped right down in the middle of the festivities and got to work to readin'. I still do that!
dear Jill,
May I possibly get your mail?
Mine is:

Thanks!

Love the negative space of those branches! It was very nice meeting you at NYCC!
Jill,
Lordy, but those pages are gorgeous! Been following the exploits of the ghost hunting dogs through all those DH anthologies so news that there will be a book series is terrific as well as exciting.

PS: I loved Magic Trixie. Will there be more?
Hi Jill-- looking great, I will keep my eye out for this-- I love the style and approach.

Your work has always been gorgeous, but that third page would make Richard Adams cry.
Can't wait.
Gorgeous doesn't do them justice.
I've been meaning to send you a link to my blog for a very long time, btw, because more than a year back I posted a drawing of Delirium you drew for me at a UKCAC back in the day.
Here it is, anyway: http://thethirstygargoyle.blogspot.com/2007/12/christmas-delirium.html
