I just got these great photos from Heather Sheptock of her son Max, number one Scary Godmother fan, and an awesome Bug-A-Boo.
I sent her a sketch of my mad plans for a homemade Bug-A-Boo costume, since a store bought one does not exist. In fact, the sketch came from a 'Scary Godmother Merchendise Catalogue" I created a buncha years ago. I made Scary G stuff, Ruby stuff, bedding, housewares, a Harry mask that fit like a baseball hat, so kids could still see... Being a lifelong Chicagoan, I thought it might be wise to make the coat the costume because there's always the chance it will be 36 degrees on Halloween. Or sleeting. Check these out. Make them for yourself you crafty crafters!

Could I Wham my Oingo Boingo into your Velvet Underground Jill?
!
OMG! My ears, they're burning I tell you. Buuuuuurning!
Hahahahahahaaha! What?! Also if I had kids and they enjoyed the book as much as I enjoy the book and the amazing Art, then I would pretty much take a month off from work to make these costumes! I would dress like the "13th Hot Rod Driver" from Mystery Date I just loved his design and it was prety simple too, well I thumbed through the book I'll look better when I read it.
