I thought I'd share some of the photos I took throughout the year. I tried to be as chronological as possible. I'll start with the cold. This one, though, was not so cold. Last New Year's day found Chicago basking in an unnatural 50 degrees or so. It was warm enough for me to jump on my bike and head to the lakefront where I stuck my hands in the frigid water to collect beach glass. It's like Peter Pan's self portrait before Wendy sewed it back on.
It's kind of beautiful, in a lace like way...
