She has a great command of her magic. Trixie is just learning everything. She's a kid with kid wants and needs. Her world has magic and things in it but it is based much more on the real world as far as it's layout and functioning go. I wanted to create a world that our kids could relate to yet find magic and creativity in. They could see themselves in Trixie and her family and her world, and find objects in their lives that they could use their imaginations with. Physically, they both have curly hair...but that's just me adding bits of myself in them. Plus, I think you'll see the similarities between the two are just because i keep adding the elements I like to both creations.Jill Thompsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15509422922384561500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6955688931665386368.post-40551104839417081652007-12-19T18:30:00.000-06:002007-12-19T18:30:00.000-06:00Hope you're not killing yourself, getting this boo...Hope you're not killing yourself, getting this book out. Seems like it's been awhile since that was the case.... hm. Damn global warming.

I love the layouts of your Christmas cards in the previous post! So balanced and visually comforting. Plus I think that snow cat looks a lot like my real cat.Mikohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13981225373774848652noreply@blogger.com
